What if Ether trumps Bitcoin as a store of value?

Researchers believe that since the London hard fork (EIP-1559), Ethereum is supplanting Bitcoin as a store of value.

The rivalry between Bitcoin and Ethereum is not going away, even though the blockchains offer very different uses. But when it comes to store of value, it is usually Bitcoin that is cited as the benchmark asset.
